The Suzaku Airdrop & Season 2 Kickoff

Suzaku TGE is just around the corner, August 13th! Along with the TGE, participants of Season 1 will be able to claim their SUZ airdrop.

Season 1 has been impressive, with nearly 10 billion Suzaku points, more than 10,000 eligible users, and an average airdrop APY of 80%!

This airdrop is just the beginning of the Suzaku journey. Season 2 is kicking off with new integrations and new ways to farm points!

Suzaku Season 1 Airdrop

The snapshot for the airdrop was taken on July 31st at 15:00 UTC, and more than 10,000 users are eligible for the Season 1 SUZ airdrop!

We’re distributing 4,750,000 SUZ (4.75% of the total supply) to Suzaku points holders and partner communities (Swissborg, Colony, Stable Jack). An additional 89,221 SUZ allocation goes to Suzaku community programs such as the London Hackathon and AMAs.

Your allocation comes in two parts:

Half (50%) arrives as unlocked SUZ tokens. You can choose to stake them for sSUZ for a special points boost for Season 2!
The other half (50%) is delivered as sSUZ (staked SUZ) that vests linearly over six months

For small allocations though, we keep it simple: if your airdrop is under 375 SUZ, you'll receive it entirely as unlocked SUZ.

Note: Colony and Swissborg users will have to claim on those platforms directly.

How were allocations calculated?

We did our best to ensure that everyone in the Suzaku community receives a reward. For this purpose, 0.5% of the supply was distributed exclusively to the Suzaku Rush participants (June 19th to July 31st, 2025), while 4.25% was distributed for all contributions made throughout Season 1 (including the Rush).

What to do with your SUZ?

At launch, there will already be 2 ways to make use of your SUZ:

Staking SUZ for sSUZ and get a piece of the 1.5% of the total supply that is distributed in the first year, as well as a special points boost for airdrop recipients

Providing liquidity to the SUZ/USDC pool on Blackhole, and maximizing your yield with Yield Yak auto-compounding strategies!

Each of these options will earn you points and rewards, and you can use them to participate in the Suzaku Season 2!

Some statistics

Season 1 by the numbers speaks for itself. Participants earned an incredible 9,950,886,651.06 Suzaku points!

10,319 users are eligible, including 1,192 via SwissBorg and 7,175 via Colony.

We’re distributing 4,839,221 SUZ, worth more than $650,000 at the TGE price!

Onchain users saw eye-popping APYs ranging from 6% up to 300%, with an average around 80%! 30% of onchain users have an airdrop worth more than $100.

Suzaku Season 2 Kickoff

Season 2 started on July 31st.

There are a few things to be aware of for this season:

SUZ will be the critical piece of Suzaku going forward: it will have a multiplier of 3x, staking it for sSUZ will generate the highest yield in SUZ, and it will act as a gateway to the Suzaku ecosystem rewards (more on that later)
You will be able to provide liquidity on Blackhole for SUZ/USDC and rsAVAX/AVAX to earn points
The LFJ integration is no longer active: depositing liquidity for rsAVAX/AVAX and rBTC.b/BTC.b there won't earn you points for now

Why should you stay around for Season 2?

Season 2 is set to be ever more exciting, with the first Suzaku-secured L1s launching in the coming months!
